Matchup: This weekend will mark the ninth and tenth meetings of the season between the two squads, with Sioux City winning five of the first eight matchups. The Musketeers won at Fargo 6-3 on December 29 before picking up two victories at the Tyson Events Center, 6-2 on January 10 and 4-2 on January 29. Fargo then swept a weekend series at Scheels Arena, winning 6-2 on February 19 and 2-1 the following night. The Force evened the season series with a 2-0 shutout in Sioux City on March 14 but the Musketeers swept a pair of games at Fargo the following weekend with identical 3-2 final scores.
About the Force: Fargo enters the weekend sitting second place in the Western Conference, needing a pair of wins and a pair of Tri City losses to earn a number one seed in the Clark Cup playoffs. The Force enter having won three consecutive games, with their most recent defeat coming back on April 9 against Omaha.
