Winston-Salem 3, Huntsville 2 SO

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Shaun Aebig scored on the fifth shot in the sudden death shootout to give the Winston-Salem Polar Twins a 3-2 win over the Huntsville Havoc on Thursday night in front of 2,282 fans. The Polar Twins led with 8:54 left in the third when Aaron Lewis scored to tie the game at 2-2. Steve Howard and Jeff Dams both scored in the shootout. Adam MacLean took the loss, his second and both have been in overtime.

Knoxville 2, Huntsville 3

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Aaron Lewis scored with 1:49 left in the third period to give the Huntsville Havoc a 3-2 win over the Knoxville Ice Bears in front of 2,541 fans Friday night. Knoxville took a 2-0 lead after the first period on goals by David Bagley and Marcus Forsberg. Derek McKinlay got the Havoc on the board in the second period at the 10:29 mark. Doug Merrell tied the game with 14:23 left in third period. Matt Carmichael got the win stopping 44 of 46 shots. Terry Dunbar took the loss stopping 30 of 33.

Huntsville 2, Jacksonville 5

JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Havoc fell to Jacksonville 5-2 for the second time this season. Jeff Dams and James Patterson both scored goals and had assists for the Havoc. Brad McDonald also had two assists. The Barracudas took advantage of the power play scoring two goals and also added an empty net goal at the end of the game.

Friday, December 3 - The Havoc will be holding a Toy Toss along the University of Alabama-Huntsville. Bring a toy and receive free admission into the doubleheader. The Chargers will open the evening against Niagara at 5:05. After the first UAH goal of the night, throw the toy on the ice. The Havoc will play at 8:30 against Asheville. Bring a second toy and throw it after the first Havoc goal. Toys from both games will be gathered and donated to WHNT's Day of Caring.
