WEEK AT A GLANCE: Mayhem at Home for Three Games this Weekend

MACON, GA- This past weekend, the Macon Mayhem won both of their games against the Pensacola Ice Flyers and the Knoxville Ice Bears, and they will now return home to the Macon Coliseum for a three-game home stand against the Mississippi RiverKings and Pensacola.

WEEKEND RECAP

On Friday night, the Mayhem rode a 45-save Jordan Ruby shutout en route to a 1-0 win over Pensacola, and then, on Saturday night, they played a back-and-forth game with the Ice Bears that ended in a 5-4 shootout win for Macon.

Jake Trask and Matt Summers both had two goals in Saturday's game, including Jake Trask's game-winning-goal in the shootout. Including his 45-save shutout on Friday night, Ruby saved 75 of the 79 shots he faced on the weekend.

The shootout win over Knoxville on Saturday makes the Mayhem 2-2 in games decided in shootouts this season, and it also stretches their record at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum to 3-0-0.

MISSISSIPPI RIVERKINGS PREVIEW

The RiverKings come to Macon for the final two meetings of the season on Friday and Saturday night. The Mayhem are 3-1-0 against Mississippi this season.

After the loss to the Mayhem on Friday night, the Ice Flyers then traveled to Huntsville on Saturday night, losing 4-3 in overtime.
