Fox Placed on 21-Day IR and Schiavo Signed

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser has placed forward Dillan Fox on the 21-day injured reserve and announced the signing of forward John Schiavo.

Fox, 25, has played in 39 games for the RiverKings this season amassing 29 points (13G, 16A) so far in the regular season. Prior to being placed on IR, Fox was the second-leading active scorer on the team. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound forward is in his second season with the RiverKings, joining the team last season after finishing up his senior year at SUNY-Plattsburgh.

Schiavo, 23, joins the RiverKings after playing 11 games for the Huntsville Havoc before being released Monday. While with the Havoc, Schiavo accrued one goal and six assits. The 5-foot-10, 187-pound forward is in the midst of his second season as a pro after playing last season with both the Macon Mayhem and the ECHL's Missouri Mavericks.
