Huntsville 4, Asheville 2 - Thursday, March 3
ASHEVILLE, NC - The Havoc jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Brandon Doria and Josh Liebenow and held on for a 4-2 win over the Asheville Aces. Doug Merrell and Dan Buccella also scored goals for Huntsville. Merrell added two assists while Buccella, James Patterson, Jason Simon and Mike Degurse all had one assist. Matt Carmichael stopped 32-of-34 shots in the win. Huntsville was 1-of-4 on the powerplay while Asheville was 0-of-1.
Huntsville 7, Knoxville 1 - Friday, March 4
KNOXVILLE, TN - Huntsville led 2-0 at the end of the first period on their way to a 7-1 win over the Knoxville Ice Bears. James Patterson and Mike Degurse both scored two goals while Brandon Doria, Josh Liebenow and Luke Phillips all had one each. Doug Merrell had three assists and Steve Howard had two, while Patterson, Jason deGuehery, Brad McDonald, Mark Cole and Jason Simon all had one each. Matt Carmichael was terrific in goal stopping 40-of-41 shots.
Huntsville 2, Jacksonville 5 - Saturday, March 5
JACKSONVILLE, FL - Huntsville fell behind 2-0 after giving up two powerplay goals and lost 5-2 to the Jacksonville Barracudas. Mike Degurse and James Patterson had a goal and an assist for the Havoc. Mark Cole and Doug Merrell also had assists.
