Wednesday's Tulsa/Allen Game Postponed
February 2, 2011 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
TEMPE, AZ (February 2, 2011) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Wednesday ¬â¢s game between the Tulsa Oilers and the Allen Americans, set for 7:30 PM (CST) at the Allen Event Center, has been postponed due to the same major winter storm in the Midwest that caused the postponement of three games already this week.
The make-up date will be Tuesday, February 8 at the Allen Event Center with face-off remaining at 7:30 PM (CST).
"The weather this week in many areas of the country has certainly created some obstacles and made travel difficult on several teams," said Duane Lewis, CHL Commissioner. "But the safety of our fans, players and staffs is paramount and it is in everyone ¬â¢s best interest to postpone this game."
