Wednesday Night's Game vs. Springfield Rained Out

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals' Wednesday night game against the Springfield Cardinals has been postponed due to inclement weather and severe thunderstorms in the area.

The game has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) evening as part of a twi-night, same admission doubleheader. The teams will play two seven-inning contests beginning at 5:35 P.M. Gates will open at 5:00 P.M, and there will be a 30 minute intermission between the two contests. Any ticket for Thursday night will be good for both games.

Thursday night is THIRSTY THURSDAY - and ten ounce Miller High Life drafts will be one dollar at the Grist Mill Grill down the first base line. Twelve ounce Pepsi fountain beverages are offered at one dollar throughout the park. Personalities from 104.9 The X will be on hand and ESPN Radio 1190 will broadcast live before the game.

All tickets from Wednesday night are eligible, per the Naturals' rain check policy, to be exchanged for a similar-value ticket, based on availability, to any regular season Naturals game during the 2008 season (excluding special events). As of now, there are plenty of great seats available for Thursday night as well as for other games during this current homestand.

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are the Double-A Texas League affiliate of the Kansas City Royals and play at state-of-the-art Arvest Ballpark, located in Springdale..
