ThunderBolts Community Notes:

Fill the House for Rocky's House

Show your heart and let's fill our house for Rocky's House".

ThunderBolts to donate June 27th ticket proceeds to fund to help build house for former Eisenhower H.S. student paralyzed by football injury.

In their continuing effort to be a strong community partner, the Windy City ThunderBolts have announced a partnership with Dreams for Kids to help raise funds for their Rocky Clark Housing Fund. The ThunderBolts will donate 100% of their game-day ticket sales for their home game on Monday June 27th to the Rocky Clark Housing Fund.

Rocky Clark was a star running back for Eisenhower High School. On September 15, 2000, Rocky sustained a broken neck on the football field, rendering him a quadriplegic. During the past 4+ years Rocky and his mother have courageously overcome more obstacles daily than most of us will face in our lifetimes. Unfortunately Rocky's current living situation has him essentially trapped in his bedroom. His mother's four-room house in Robbins, IL is not accessible for Rocky's needs, medical equipment, nurses, etc. Rocky is confined mainly to his 8 by 10 foot bedroom.

Dreams for Kids provides assistance to improve the quality of life for children with disabilities and those who have suffered hardship. The Rocky Clark Housing Fund will be used to buy or build a ranch style house and retro fit it to accommodate Rocky's special needs.
