We Are Messangers to Perform at Faith & Family Night

SPRINGDALE, Ark - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals along with presenting sponsor Sam's Furniture and media partner KLRC are excited to announce that WE ARE MESSENGERS will perform a pre-game concert from 6:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. at our first Faith and Family Night on Friday, May 6 before the Naturals take on the Springfield Cardinals at Arvest Ballpark.

Darren Mulligan, the frontman for WE ARE MESSENGERS, came from a sordid and troubled past to leave his native Ireland for a second time to pursue his dream in music and to spread his personal testimony through music. After being away from music for a time, he started to fill in for a guitarist at his church and music was once again a part of his life. He started to sing in a makeshift band that formed for a week-long youth conference. The band was later named The Remission Flow and became extremely popular over the next three years throughout Ireland and the U.K. Music from The Remission Flow reached the desk of an A&R executive at Word Entertainment and they quickly flew him to Nashville and offered him a record deal.

He hit the ground running as he scheduled daily co-writing sessions and wrote over 100 songs. Those songs have been whittled down to 14 for the release of WE ARE MESSENGERS self-titled, 14-song debut album on April 22, 2016. On the album, Mulligan worked with a number of respected writers and producers including Josh Bronleewe, Ed Cash, and Seth Mosley, among others. The debut album features songs like "Everything Comes Alive", "I'm On Fire", and "Giants Fall".

WE ARE MESSENGERS is scheduled to perform a 45 minute pre-game concert that will begin at 6:00 p.m., prior to the Naturals game against the Springfield Cardinals (Double-A Springfield Cardinals) that is scheduled to start at 7:15 p.m. Gates will open to the public at 5:30 p.m. and there will be a post-game Fireworks Spectacular to conclude the night.

Tickets are currently available for Faith and Family Night and they can be purchased at the Arvest Ballpark Box Office, which is open 10am-5pm Monday through Friday, and 10am-2pm on Saturday. Tickets are also available at Guest Services during the game, online at www.nwanaturals.com/tickets or by calling our toll free hotline at (877) 444-2637. Faith and Family Night tickets will range from $8 to $14 and the ticket includes the concert, ballgame, and post-game Fireworks Spectacular.

In addition, the Naturals will offer special group rates starting at just $8 per person for Reserved seats for groups of 20 or more. Groups interested in attending Faith & Family Night presented by Sam's Furniture and media partner KLRC, must purchase these tickets in advance.
