Coach Keith Tozer: Now in his 12th season as Head Coach of the Wave (his 20th overall as a professional head coach) Keith Tozer is the winningest coach in the 25-year history of North American indoor soccer. Tozer, who became the first and only coach to reach the 500 win plateau on 4/12/02, currently sports a combined regular and post-season record of 548-346 (.613), including a 329-177 mark (.650) as coach of the Wave. The 46-year old Grosse Pointe, MI native, who is also Milwaukee's Vice President â Soccer Operations overseeing both the Wave indoor and Wave United outdoor teams, began his coaching career as a player-coach with the Louisville Thunder in 1984 following a six-year career in the original MISL. He has led Milwaukee to three league titles and five championship series appearances in the last six seasons. He is also a five-time NPSL / MISL Coach of the Year award winner (1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, and 2003.)
Wave Notes: *The Wave is now 111-36 (.755) in its last 147 regular and post-season outings.
*The Wave's 15-4 record represents Milwaukee's best 19-game start in the club's 20-year history. The previous best was 14-5 during the 1995-96, 2001-02, and 2002-03 seasons.
*The 12/31 contest v. Monterrey was Coach Keith Tozer's 500th game as coach of the Wave. Now in his 12th season with Milwaukee, Tozer is just the third coach in North American indoor soccer history to guide one team for as many games. Only Kenny Cooper (751 games with Baltimore) and Ron Newman (701 games with San Diego) have coached more games with a single franchise.
*Assistant Coach Steve Morris made his professional head coaching debut on 12/6 @ Bal. He stepped in for Keith Tozer, who was coaching the U.S. Futsal Team in Anaheim, CA.
*Milwaukee's 9-8 (OT) loss on 12/6 @ Bal broke a five-game overtime winning streak for the Wave dating back to the 2001-02 campaign. Milwaukee was 4-0 in extra-session games last year and 1-1 the year before.
*The Wave's 6-5 (OT) win over SD on 1/2 @ Mil improved the Wave's overtime record to 1-1 this season and 25-30 all-time, including 18-10 at home.
*The 15 goals on 11/14 v. KC is the fourth highest total in team history. The Wave team record for most goals in a contest is 18, set on 12/6/98 v. Cle.
*Troy Dusosky and Marcelo Fontana each scored a goal to record the 150th point of their respective careers in Milwaukee's 6-2 win over Monterrey on 12/31 @ Mil.
*The Wave's "Twin Tandem" - Todd and Troy Dusosky - has now combined for 284 goals (Todd 197 + Troy 87) and 302 assists (Todd 235 + Troy 67) for 586 points (Todd 432 + Troy 154), good for tenth on the all-time indoor soccer brothers scoring list (see below). The Dusoskys (Todd 383 + Troy 65 = 448) are also the highest scoring brother pair in Wave history ahead of the White brothers (Pat 164 + Erik 9 = 173).

Last Week's Recap:
1/23 @ Cleveland Wave 5, Force 4 Attendance â 2,602
Leighton O'Brien's goal at 5:29 of the fourth quarter broke a 4-4 deadlock and stood up as the game-winner as the Wave edged the Force 5-4 before a crowd of 2,602 that endured hazardous weather conditions to witness the match at the CSU Convo Center.
The Force jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by former Wave star Josh Timbers (6:42 of the first quarter) and Justin Evans (0:55 of the second period), the latter of which came on a power play following a tripping penalty to the Wave's Chris Morman. Milwaukee quickly responded with four straight goals, capped off by Todd Dusosky's power play tally from Greg Howes at 7:56 of the second quarter.
Cleveland answered with another goal from Evans at 11:52 of the second quarter before tying it up (4-4) on Hector Marinaro's spectacular volley off a long pass from goalkeeper Otto Orf. After O'Brien's tally put the Wave back on top, Milwaukee held on to win despite a furious effort by the Force utilizing Marinaro as an extra attacker.
Nick Vorberg, who was making his first appearance since December 13th claimed the victory by stopping 15-of-19 shots faced. Orf took the loss despite an outstanding 19 save performance.
1/24 @ Milwaukee Wave 6, Force 2 Attendance â 6,517
Michael King and Leighton O'Brien each scored two goals while goalkeeper Dan Green registered 10 saves to lead the Milwaukee Wave past the visiting Cleveland Force 6-2 Saturday night (1/24) in front of 6,517 fans at U.S. Cellular Arena. The Wave, which had defeated the Force 5-4 the previous night in Cleveland, improved its 2003-04 Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) regular season record to a league-best 15-4 (including an 8-0 mark at U.S. Cellular Arena) while the Force dropped to 6-12.
O'Brien opened the scoring with his third goal of the year on assist from Greg Howes at 2:03. Chris Dore answered for the Force at 5:32 off a restart pass from Hector Marinaro. King's unassisted goal at 8:01 put the Wave back on top (2-1) and would prove to be the final goal of the first period.
The lone goal scored in the second period came courtesy of the Wave's Angel Rivillo at 3:53. Rivillo converted from 30 feet out on a pass from Kevin Burke to give Milwaukee a 3-1 halftime advantage.
The Wave controlled the majority of play in the third period as it peppered the Force goal with 12 shot to just two for Cleveland. Milwaukee eventually scored when O'Brien tallied his second of the night at 8:22 on a header from 15 feet out on the right side following an off-target shot by Howes. The Wave increased its lead to four (5-1) at 9:42 when Joe Reiniger put back a Michael King shot that was initially stopped by Cleveland goalkeeper Otto Orf.
Justin Evans' goal at 7:06 of the fourth quarter ended Milwaukee's four-goal run but Green and the Wave defense prevented any further Cleveland scoring. King scored his second of the contest at 13:58 into an empty net to complete the scoring.
Green stopped 10-of-12 shots faced to raise his record to 9-2. Orf, who had another outstanding game for Cleveland, fell to 2-5 despite saving 13-of-18.
