Dallas Sidekicks News Release
DALLAS - Sidekicks' forward David Doyle will be out 6-8 weeks with a broken right ankle. The injury occurred in the first quarter of the Sidekicks 1-0 victory over the Philadelphia Kixx Sunday at Reunion Arena.
Doyle, 38, leads the Sidekicks in scoring and is tied for fifth in the MISL this season with 33 points on 19 goals and 14 assists. Doyle will be moved off the active roster to injured reserve status.
"It's a tremendous disappointment to the organization and a blow to the team. We will be without our star player for up to two months and possibly the rest of the season," says Sidekicks head coach Tatu.
