FishSticks Millwork Offensive Player of the Week - Peter Krieger
With two goals in each of the Hawks' weekend wins, Krieger gave Waterloo a boost. He now leads the squad with 18 goals and 40 points this season.
Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week - Cal Petersen
Petersen stopped 56 of 57 shots sent his way during two wins. He made 34 saves on Saturday in a 7-0 decision versus Sioux City for his second shutout of the season.
UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker - Brandon Montour
The Black Hawks scored 12 goals during the weekend and Montour set up half of them, with three assists each night. He also owned a team-leading +5 plus/minus rating.
Convenient Care Heart of the Week - Jake Horton
Horton was rewarded for his special teams efforts. On Friday, he scored a shorthanded goal, then Saturday, his first period power play marker proved to be the game-winner.
