WINSTON-SALEM, NC (May 3, 2012) - The Dash have signed a three-year deal with WXLV-TV (ABC 45) and their sister station, WMYV (My 48), to regionally televise Dash Friday home games. The stations will air 12 Dash games during the 2012 season, including the California-Carolina League All-Star Game on June 19 and the Dash's game on the Fourth of July.
The first televised game will air Friday, May 4 when the Dash play the Salem Red Sox. Friday's telecast can be seen on My 48 at 8 p.m. "Voice of the Dash" Brian Boesch will broadcast every game with a rotating panel of color analysts throughout the season. Current Dash players, area coaches and White Sox coaches and instructors are among the television analysts who will appear on the broadcasts.
"We are thrilled to partner with WXLV for 12 games during the 2012 season," Dash team president Geoff Lassiter said. "We will bring the excitement of a home game at BB&T Ballpark into the homes of Dash fans all around the Winston-Salem area."
