Washout II: Second Postponement in series for RailRiders

MOOSIC, Pa. - The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders game against the Rochester Red Wings scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to rain and is scheduled to be made-up as part of a doubleheader June 12 at PNC Field.

The RailRiders and Red Wings split a doubleheader Friday evening in what was necessitated following Thursday's postponement, making Saturday the second home postponement of the season for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and the third overall this season.

Sunday is set for a single-bill Mother's Day matinee with a 1:05 p.m. scheduled first pitch. LHP Daniel Camarena (2-1, 4.66) is slated to take the ball for SWB against RHP Myles Jaye (1-2, 5.92). Mother's Day Brunch will be offered at the game for fans for $30 which includes Mother's Day Breakfast and a game ticket on the Club level. Breakfast starts at 10:30 a.m. and runs until 11:45 a.m. The menu includes scrambled eggs, home fries, ham, sausage, French toast and juice.

The first 500 Moms through the gates will receive a mason jar wineglass, courtesy of Bloomin' Idiots. The RailRiders will also be offering 9 innings of winnings throughout the game. Prizes will include Edible arrangements, a ShurSave gift card, Scranton Cultural Center Tickets, a Bloomin' Idiots flower bouquet, and more.
