Washington Spirit Reveals 2019 NWSL Regular Season Schedule

Boyds, Md. - The Washington Spirit's 24-game National Women's Soccer League regular season schedule has been unveiled.

Ten of the the Spirit's 12 home games will be played at the Maryland SoccerPlex, and two will be played at a venue to be named after the conclusion of the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France.

Washington will open the season at home on Saturday, April 13 against Sky Blue FC at the Maryland SoccerPlex. Tickets for the Spirit's 2019 home opener will go on sale Friday, Feb. 22. Single game tickets for entire season will go on sale on Monday, March 4 at Tickets.WashingtonSpirit.com.

On Saturday, Aug. 24, the Spirit will host the Orlando Pride in their first of two home games away from the Maryland SoccerPlex. Three weeks later, Washington will host Seattle Reign FC on Saturday, Sept. 14, also at a venue to be announced later. Tickets to both games are included in the Spirit's Season Ticket plan.

All of the NWSL's 2019 regular season matches will be streamed on Yahoo! Sports, while international fans will be able to follow the action on the NWSL app and NWSLsoccer.com.

The Spirit has also announced a landmark broadcast partnership with NBC Sports Washington and Monumental Sports Network, which will provide local TV and digital broadcasts of a minimum of 12 Spirit games. Washington's local TV broadcast schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

The historic seventh NWSL season will feature nine teams set to face off in a single table, 24-game regular season - with 12 home games and 12 away games - in which every team will take on each opponent three times.
