WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Sunday afternoon's contest between Winston-Salem and Kinston was postponed due to heavy rain and wet field conditions. The two teams will face off in a doubleheader on Monday evening with both games scheduled for seven innings.
The Warthogs will send RHP John Ely (3-8, 4.66) to the mound in game one, while the Indians will turn to RHP Jeanmar Gomez (2-7, 5.87). In the nightcap, RHP Clevelan Santeliz (2-2, 1.83) will start for Winston-Salem, while Kinston will counter with LHP Shawn Nottingham (0-0, 3.55). The first pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
