Woodbridge, VA-The Salem Avalanche, Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Houston Astros, had its game with the Potomac Nationals postponed due to rain Sunday night at Pfitzner Stadium. The teams will play a doubleheader at 5:30 on Sunday.
The rain began not long after the top of the five o'clock hour and remained until well after six, rendering the field unplayable.
The Avalanche and Nationals have already played one doubleheader this season at Pfitzner Stadium with each team winning one of the games.
