Potomac Nationals News Release
WOODBRIDGE, Va.- The second game of the Potomac Nationals three-game series with the Salem Avalanche has been postponed due to rain. A quick storm moved into the area just prior to the start of the game forcing a one-hour delay before the contest was officially called. The game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader tomorrow, Monday, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets for Sunday's game can be exchanged at the Potomac Nationals Box Office for a future date excluding the playoffs.
Fans who bought tickets for Monday's game are eligible to attend both games of the doubleheader.
The Nationals will resume play tomorrow with the Avalanche wrapping up the three-game set beginning at 5:30 p.m. as right-hander Zack Segovia (0-0, 0.00) is scheduled to make his Potomac debut against left-hander Douglas Arguello (5-2, 3.04) in game one of the doubleheader. Game two will follow approximately 30 minutes after and both games will be seven innings.
Monday is "Dollar Night" at Pfitzner Stadium, as fans can purchase grandstand tickets for one dollar. For more information on playoff tickets, please call (703) 590-2311 or visit www.potomacnationals.com.
