Warriors Split Weekend Games... Moose Jaw had their highest offensive output of the season Saturday with a 9-0 win over the Prince Albert Raiders. Sam Fioretti had three goals and five points; Morgan Rielly had five assists; Justin Kirsch had two goals; Brayden Point had one goal and three points; Tanner Eberle had three assists; Joel Edmundson, Jordan Wyton, and Carter Hansen had one goal each; Travis Brown and Andrew Johnson had one assist each; Daniel Wapple made 32 saves to record his first career WHL shutout.

Sunday the Warriors were on the receiving end of a one-sided score, losing 5-0 to the Tri City Americans. Justin Feser led the Americans with two goals; Lucas Nickles, Connor Rankin, and Clint Filbrandt had one goal each; Daniel Wapple allowed three goals on eight shots, while Justin Paulic allowed two goals on 14 shots. Moose Jaw's record is now 4-4-0-1 to start the work week.

V Everett Tuesday... Tuesday will be the first and only meeting of the season between the Warriors and Everett Silvertips. Last season Moose Jaw posted a 5-2 win in Everett on December 31st; Sam Fioretti had two goals and three points, Justin Kirsch had three assists, Cody Beach had a goal and two points, Kenton Miller and Jordan Wyton had one goal each. Ryan Harrison led Everett with two assists, Nick Walters and Joshua Winquist had one goal each. In the last five years Moose Jaw has posted a 2-3 record against Everett, they are 1-1 in the Friendly City; this game marks their first battle at Mosaic Place.

Road Trip Weekend... Friday the Warriors open a two game Alberta road trip with their first meeting of the season against the Edmonton Oil Kings; it's also their first meeting since last season's Eastern Conference Final. Andrew Johnson and Jordan Wyton had a goal and two points each against Edmonton, which is the most among the returning players. For Edmonton, Griffin Reinhart had two goals and four points against the Warriors, while Michael St. Croix had one goal and four points. In four games last season the Warriors posted a 1-2-1 record against Edmonton, which includes a 0-1-1 record on the road.

On Saturday the Tribe will head to Lethbridge for their first meeting of the season against the Hurricanes. Last season Moose Jaw went 3-1 against the Hurricanes, their 12-7-1-1 against Lethbridge in the last five years. Justin Kirsch is the top returning scorer against the Lethbridge for the Warriors, last year he had three goals and six points, Joel Edmundson had two goals, Sam Fioretti and Torrin White had two assists each. Adam Henry led the Hurricanes last season with one goal and four points against the Warriors, while Sam Mckechnie had one goal and three points.

Drive Away Hunger... Tuesday the Warriors will team up with Farm Credit Canada and host a stop of their Drive Away Hunger Tour. FCC volunteers handed out collection bags after Sunday's game, on Tuesday fans will be encouraged to bring those bags back to Mosaic Place filled with non-perishable food items. The Drive Away Hunger tour on the 16th begins with tractors and trailers from three local dealerships making stops at Moose Jaw schools and business throughout the day, they'll eventually make their way to Mosaic Place around 5:30pm, where fans will be able to drop off their collection bags.

Community Appearances... The Moose Jaw Warriors will visit two schools in celebration of Education Week; on Monday the players will visit St. Margaret's while on Wednesday they'll make a stop at St. Mary's. Both visits they'll go into classrooms and read to students while sharing the importance of education. Also on Monday several players will head to Prince Arthur School and help serve lunch as part of FCC's Drive Away Hunger Tour.
