WARRIORS DOUBLE UP HURRICANES 6-3 AT HOME

The Moose Jaw Warriors picked up their third straight win Wednesday night with a 4-0 win over Lethbridge at the Civic Centre. Quinton Howden scored two goals; Joey Kornelsen and Brayden Cuthbert had one goal each; Dylan McIlrath had three assists; Sebastian Svendsen had two assists; Thomas Heemskerk made 19 saves and Brandon Stone made one save in the shutout. Moose Jaw outshot the Hurricanes 41-20, and went 1/13 on the power play and 5/5 on the penalty kill.

WARRIORS RETURN FROM THE WEST WITH A 1-1 RECORD

The Moose Jaw Warriors picked up their fourth straight with a 6-3 win in Edmonton Friday night. Antonin Honejsek led the tribe with two goals and four points; Collin Bowman scored two goals; Joey Kornelsen had a goal and two points; Sebastian Svendsen scored one goal; Joel Edmundson had two assists; Morgan Rielly, Dallas Ehrhardt, Dylan McIlrath, Jesse Paradis, and Dylan Hood had one assist each; Thomas Heemskerk made 32 saves in the win. The Warriors were 2/5 on the power play and 3/3 on the penalty kill.

Saturday night the tribe faced the red hot Red Deer Rebels. Without being able to get anything past the CHL Goaltender of the Week, Darcy Kuemper; the Warriors fell to a 3-0 loss. The Warriors are yet to get a goal past Kuemper and are 0-3 against the Rebels this season.

WARRIORS FACE OFF WITH DIVISION TEAMS

The Warriors will head to Swift Current Tuesday night to visit the Broncos. Friday night will bring the Regina Pats to Moose Jaw for a clash of trans-Canada neighbours. Saturday night the tribe will head into Regina for the second game of the home a home.

SOBEY ‚¬â„¢S HOCKEY CARD SIGNING

The Warriors will be at Sobey ‚¬â„¢s on Sunday for this year ‚¬â„¢s team hockey card signing. The team will be in the local Sobeys from 2:00-4:00 pm. Grab your set of cards for just $5.00 and get them signed by the whole team on Sunday.

WARRIORS SKILLS COMPETITION PRESENTED BY CROSS CANADA FLOORING AND CENTURY WEST HOMES

Fan ‚¬â„¢s can enjoy this year ‚¬â„¢s team displaying their talent on Sunday February 20th. The Warriors Skills Competition is proudly sponsored by Century West Homes and Cross Canada Flooring.

The Skills Competition will feature six different skill categories. The Warriors team will be divided in half and competing for bragging rights. Fans will be able to see some of the Warriors at their best for an afternoon of fun.

The Competition will feature raining Top Prospects Accuracy shooting champion, Quinton Howden. Quinton took home the title last year at the 2010 Canadian Hockey League Top Prospects Game where he won the accuracy shooting competition ‚¬" he went four-for-six in the first round and eventually beat out Devante Smith-Pelley and Steven Shipley in a showdown.

Events include: Puck Control Relay, Fastest Skater, Round 1- Shootout, Hardest Shot, Accuracy Shooting and Breakaway Challenge (Trick Shots). Tickets are just $5.00 for season ticket holders and $10 for general public; however, this event will be general seating.
