
Warriors Update the Status of Alexander Chirva

Moose Jaw Warriors News Release
The Moose Jaw Warriors issued the following update on the status of import forward Alexander Chirva. The 17-year old Russian has received his visa and will be in Moose Jaw Thursday evening. Chirva is expected to skate with his teammates for the first time Saturday, 2:30pm, in Caronport.
Moose Jaw selected Chirva 66th overall in the 2013 CHL Import Draft in July. He played last season with Moscow Spartak Junior U17, he took part in the 2013 KHL Prospects Game, and was drafted in the second round (50th overall) in the 2013 KHL Draft.
The Warriors 2013 Pre-Season schedule continues Friday with a trip to Brandon, the back half of their home-and-home series against the Wheat Kings goes Sunday, 2pm, at Mosaic Place. 2013-2014 Season Tickets are still available, for more details call the Warriors office, 694-5711.
