
Warriors Release 25th Anniversary Print

Moose Jaw, SK--- The Moose Jaw Warriors are pleased to announce the release of their limited edition 25th Anniversary print by local artist, Andrew Meredith. Meredith has created a special print depicting the historic Civic Centre and the legacy of the Warriors organization established in 1984.
Born in Nova Scotia, Andrew Meredith's passion for painting evolved while growing up on the East Coast; surrounded by the colours of farming, forestry and fishing.
Andrew's collections have been displayed as a feature artist at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre and the Prince of Wales Cultural Centre in Assiniboia, SK. His works have been part of group exhibitions at the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa, ON and the Shurniak Art Gallery in Assiniboia, SK. Numerous galleries and gift shops carry Andrew's work throughout Saskatchewan including the Moose Jaw Art Gallery , MacKenzie Art Gallery in Regina and Emerald Glass & Gallery in Moose Jaw.
Andrew has been commissioned to paint numerous pieces for charitable and corporate organizations. Andrew's paintings can be found in both private and corporate collections throughout Canada, England and the United States.
Andrew currently lives in Moose Jaw were he works and paints. From Canada's east coast to the Saskatchewan prairies, Andrew is emerging as a brilliant artist.
"We are very excited about the opportunity to work with Andrew on this project." commented Warriors Director of Marketing Corey Nyhagen. "He is a very talented young artist who has done an excellent job at capturing the historic Beginnings of the Warriors in the Moose Jaw Civic Centre. "
The print, fittingly entitled "Beginnings", is limited to only 395 signed and numbered editions and retails for $50. All proceeds from the sale of the print with go directly to the Warriors Education Fund. "Beginnings" is available for purchase today at the Warriors downtown office or during any Warriors home games.
