Brandon, Manitoba -- The deadline for Brandon Wheat Kings' Season Ticket holders to exercise their option and purchase 2010 MasterCard Memorial Cup Ticket Packages is fast approaching.
Western Manitoba hockey fans with 2009-10 Season Tickets have until Thursday, October 15th to order their packages for the 4-team National Championship, scheduled to be held in Brandon from May 14-23rd 2010.
The cost for each Memorial Cup package is $399 plus GST.
For those fans or businesses that have flex packs or exchange coupon vouchers, they will have the opportunity to come in on Thursday, October 22nd and select their seats for the event, which will be held in the province of Manitoba for the first time ever.
As of last week, the Wheat Kings had sold well over 3,500 Season Tickets this season, which represents a career high. However, many have yet to exercise that option including over one hundred local businesses.
In order to guarantee your seat, fans and businesses alike are encouraged to stop by the Wheat Kings office today, tomorrow or on Thursday's Deadline Day, or call the Wheat Kings' office at 726-3535.
Those that do not purchase their Memorial Cup Ticket package by Thursday will lose the rights to those seats.
In September, the Canadian Hockey League returned 350 of their 1,800 ticket holds to the WHL club because of the high demand for Wheat Kings' Season Tickets. As of now, the Wheat Kings have the ability to sell up to 3,652 MasterCard Memorial Cup Ticket packages.
