Bismarck, N.D. (April. 4, 2012) - The Dakota Wizards announced today that rookie forward Chris Wright has been recalled by the Golden State Warriors.
Wright appeared in six games with the Wizards, averaging 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.8 blocks in 27.8 minutes per game. He was originally assigned to the Wizards on March 24 and helped lead Dakota to a 5-1 record, winning their last five games to secure a spot in the NBA D-League playoffs.
This was the second assignment of the season for Wright as he previously was assigned to Dakota on January 26 and averaged 20.7 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 2.3 blocks in 31.0 minutes over three games before being recalled on February 6. In nine games with the Wizards this season, Wright has averaged 18.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.3 blocks in 29.0 minutes of action.
The current roster stands at 10 players.
