March 3, 2024 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Moose Jaw Warriors News Release
Wenatchee, WA - For the first time ever, the Moose Jaw Warriors will head into Wentachee to battle the Wild.
The Warriors square off with the Wild at Town Toyota Center to close out their eight-game road trip on Sunday afternoon.
After winning 4-2 in Seattle on Saturday, Moose Jaw will be aiming to finish off a sweep of the U.S. Division when they head into Wentachee.
Since 1996-97, the Warriors have only swept a road trip in the U.S. Division once previously in 1998-99, going 4-0 in the division that season.
After losing their first two games on the eight-game road trip in the Central Division, the Warriors have now won five straight games ahead of Sunday's showdown with the Wild.
The Warriors went 3-2-0-1 against the Wild last season when they were in Winnipeg.
The Wild have went 4-6-0-0 in their last ten games, including a 6-3 win over the Regina Pats in their last game on Wednesday.
The Warriors and Wild square off at 6 p.m. Saskatchewan time.
