SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors dropped the second game of a back-to-back Friday night, falling 97-80 to the Springfield Armor.

Santa Cruz was led by Seth Curry, who scored 21 points and dished out five assists. Dominic McGuire logged a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards, while Cameron Jones scored 15 points off the bench. Ognjen Kuzmic, currently on assignment from the Golden State Warriors, grabbed nine rebounds.

Springfield's Khalif Wyatt scored a game-high 25 points off the bench - 23 in the final frame - on 7-of-14 shooting from the field. Willie Reed scored 20 points and grabbed 20 boards, which is an all-time high for a Santa Cruz opponent, and Jeff Foote recorded a double-double with 14 points and 16 boards.

Springfield led by as much as eight early in the second quarter, but the Warriors went on a 13-4 run to take the one-point lead. The two teams traded the lead eight more times through the third quarter, with the Warriors taking a two-point advantage into the fourth. After Daniel Nwaelele hit a three to extend the lead to five, Khalif Wyatt connected on three straight three-pointers and Springfield never looked back. Later in the fourth, Wyatt went on a personal 10-0 run to seal the victory for the Armor.

Springfield held the advantage on field goal shooting (42.7%-34.5%), rebounds (56-49), assists (15-13) and turnovers (13-16). Santa Cruz blocked more shots (8-3).
