CANTON, OH - The Texas Legends, presented by Veracruz (visit Veracruz.mx), faced the Canton Charge for their second and final matchup of the regular season, falling on the road 106-118.

Canton took control 17 seconds into the game and never relented. The Charge led by as many as 21 on the night, and while the Legends chipped away at the lead the comeback was insufficient. Canton's largest advantage came early in the fourth quarter. The Legends used the hot shooting of PJ Hairston, who had 14 in the final quarter, to come within eight, but the clock was not on their side and the Charge knocked down six of six free throws to take home the victory.

Damion James led the Legends with the team's only double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds. PJ Hairston came off the bench to add 16 points and 4 rebounds, while Mickey McConnell led the team in assists with 7. Canton had seven of eight players in double-digits scoring. Kevin Jones and Gilbert Brown led the Charge in scoring with 22 and 20 points respectively.

The Legends will return home after a 3-game road trip to host the Tulsa 66ers at 7pm Wednesday, Feb 26th. For tickets or information visit www.TexLegends.com.
