THE GOALS

First Period

MJ 0-1 at 4:17 - Ethan Hughes (1), assisted by Atley Calvert and Ryder Korczak // A defensive zone face-off loss led directly to a Calvert shot that was stopped by Sim but Hughes won a puck battle and tapped the puck home for his first career WHL goal to give the hometown Warriors a 1-0 lead.

MJ 0-2 at 13:34 - Harper Lolacher (5), assisted by Lucas Brenton and Jagger Firkus // Brenton ripped a point shot that Sim stopped but had trouble grabbing the puck and Lolacher found the rebound and buried the puck to extend the Warriors lead to 2-0.

REG 1-2 at 17:28 - Alexander Suzdalev (19), assisted by Braxton Whitehead // Whitehead was able to battle a pair of Warrior defenders to get the puck and he sent a pass to Suzdalev in the slot who fired a laser over Ungar's glove to get the Pats on the board trailing 2-1 late in the opening stanza.

Second Period

MJ 1-3 at 45 seconds - Jagger Firkus (19), assisted by Brayden Yager and Ryder Korczak (PP) // A long-range shot hit Bateman in front of the Pats net causing the puck to go to a wide-open Firkus who had an easy tap in to give the Warriors a 3-1 lead early in the second period.

MJ 1-4 at 8:28 - Eric Alarie (6), assisted by Ben Riche and Maximus Wanner // A dump-in by the Warriors deflected off a Pats defender right to Alarie who was alone to the right of the Pats net and he made no mistake to give the Warriors a 4-1 lead near the halfway mark of the contest.

REG 2-4 at 14:42 - Alexander Suzdalev (20), assisted by Layton Feist // After both teams exchanged multiple offensive zone pressure, it was the Pats' turn and the Feist found the puck in the slot. He fired a pass to Suzdalev who was open for business and ripped a one-timer past Ungar to get the Pats back to within a pair at 4-2 with his second of the contest.

Third Period

MJ 2-5 at 9:08 - Ryder Korczak (8), assisted by Brayden Yager // At the end of a Pats powerplay, the Warriors broke in on a two-on-one and Korczak made no mistake to give them a three-goal lead at 5-2.

MJ 2-6 at 12:13 - Harper Lolacher (6), assisted by Logan Dowhaniuk and Ben Riche (PP) // The Warriors worked it around on the powerplay to Dowhaniuk, and he ripped a point shot that deflected off Lolacher and past Sim to extend their lead to 6-2.
