Walsh Named Young Plumbing & Heating Player of the Week

Waterloo, IA - The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced that Drew Walsh has been named the Young Plumbing & Heating Bucks Player of the Week. Walsh,a junior from Long Island University, hit .529 in five games over the last week for Waterloo. The infielder is slugging .706 and owns a .556 on-base percentage since Monday.

A native of Staten Island, NY, Walsh is hitting .241 on the season with one home run and 17 RBI. In 40 games, Walsh has six doubles two triples, and one stolen base.
