Game 6 in Reading on Sunday, the Walleye got two goals from A.J. Jenks, a goal from Dominic Zombo, and 33 saves from Jeff Lerg en route to a 3-1 win to stay alive and force the deciding Game 7 back in Toledo. A key moment of the game came at 17:32 of the first period, when Lerg denied Reading's Joe Rehkamp on a penalty shot, with the Walleye leading 1-0 at the time.

Jenks is tied for second in the ECHL in playoff points (5 goals, 3 assists), and leads the league with 27 shots on goal. Tylor Spink is tied for first in rookie scoring (2 goals, 5 assists). Beau Schmitz is tied for third in points by defensemen (0 goals, 6 assists). Toledo's playoff power play ranks seventh (19.2%), with its playoff penalty kill ranks twelfth (79.2%).
