
Royals to Host "Internship Fair" at Santander Arena on Thursday

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, the ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, invite all college students to the team's first ever Internship Fair on Thursday, April 28, from 1pm to 4pm at Santander Arena (700 Penn Street) in Reading, Pennsylvania. The Royals are seeking internship candidates for the Summer and Fall of 2016 and Winter and Spring of 2017 in the team's marketing, communications, sales, merchandise, game operations, and community relations departments. Participants in the internship fair are requested to bring a resume, as well as RSVP to Alexy Posner (aposner@royalshockey.com).
The Royals are searching for highly motivated and energetic interns to join our fast-paced team that is constantly striving to create the best fan experience both on and off the ice. We're looking for undergraduate and graduate college students with the right combination of initiative, people skills, and marketing savvy to help our team grow. Royals' interns work directly with the marketing, sales and merchandise departments on a project basis. Our summer interns have the opportunity to rotate throughout each department working on creative initiatives, marketing campaigns, merchandise sales and buying, as well as ticket and group sales. This isn't just your average college internship. The Royals actively seek to create a prestigious learning environment for people to grow and evolve into hirable candidates. If you are a creative, go-getter, who isn't afraid to think outside the box, then the Royals want to hear from you!
The Royals and Toledo Walleye will square off in Game Seven of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal battle on Tuesday (April 26 @ 7:35 pm) at Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio. The series determinative matchup can be heard live on CBS SportsRadio 1240 AM and 98.5 FM in Reading, starting with the pre-game warm-up show presented by Highmark Blue Shield at 7:00 pm Eastern Time. The game will also be televised locally in Berks County, Pennsylvania, on BCTV courtesy of Boscov's Travel and Apple Vacations. Streaming audio is available free of charge on the Royals' website (follow the 'headset' icon); and streaming video is available on a pay-per-view basis through ECHL.TV.
