
Walker, Pinson Lead Legends in Ignite Sweep

FRISCO, TX - Jordan Walker had a career-high 43 points to go with a triple-double from Theo Pinson leading the Texas Legends (13-10) to a 117-102 series sweep over the G League Ignite (2-23).
Tyler Hall opened the game with a long ball to give Texas the first lead but Ignite caught up quickly and held the edge for most of the quarter, taking their largest lead of the night (+7). The Legends ended the first on a 17-2 stretch and never looked back. Walker fired off 20 of the Legends' 38 points in the second to give the home team a double-digit lead.
A 15-point difference at the half grew to 20 early in the third but Ignite chipped it down to eight midway through. The visitors outscored the home team 28-27 in the third, but Texas stayed on top 94-80 going into the final. Walker put up 11 points in the final 12 minutes and the Legends built their largest lead of the night (+25). Ignite went on a 10-0 run to finish but were unable to overcome the sweep.
Walker's 43 beat his own previous team season-high (39) and he tagged on 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals. Pinson finished with a full plate of 22 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals, and a block. Tyler Hall added 20 points, 5 rebounds and Warith Alatishe grabbed 12 rebounds along with 6 points, 3 assists.
Michael Frazier II led Ignite with 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Gabe York added 17 points, 6 rebounds and Tyler Smith came off the bench for 14 points, 8 rebounds.
