Ontario Clippers News Release

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Clippers (10-13) fall to the Sioux Falls Skyforce (17-7), 119-111, on Thursday afternoon in Ontario to split the two-game series.

The Clippers were led by Jordan Miller's game-high 31 points on an efficient 10-of-18 shooting from the field, including 3-of-7 from deep, to go along with 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and a block. Moussa Diabate added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the loss.

Cole Swider paced Sioux Falls in the victory, matching Miller's game-high 31 points on 11-of-14 shooting from the field and 7-of-10 from distance. Jamaree Bouyea (26 points, 15 assists) and Jamal Cain (22 points, 15 rebounds) each recorded a double double.

The game was fought valiantly by both sides, with neither team holding a lead greater than 8 points. The Clippers won the first half, leading by 6 at the break and trailing by no more than 2 along the way. But the Skyforce responded in the third quarter, regaining a 2-point advantage right before the buzzer. They would hold steady through the final frame, extending their lead to 8 to fend off Ontario for the win.
