Wahoos Get Infielder, Chang, From Louisville Bryson Smith is put on the Disabled List PENSACOLA, Fla. - Outfielder Bryson Smith has been put onto the Disabled List and the Blue Wahoos have received 10-year pro, Ray Chang, from Triple-A Louisville. Chang has played one game this season for the Bats, but last season Chang hit .268 with a .332 OBP in 86 games with Triple-A Louisville and Double-A Pensacola.
The Reds signed Chang as a minor league free agent back in January of 2013. The utility infielder was originally signed as a non-drafted free agent by San Diego on 7/4/2005.
Smith was hitting .273 this season and had hits in four out of his last five games played before he was placed on the Disabled List.
