Waco Wranglers Host Arkansas Teams

WACO, Texas-The Waco Wranglers look to improve upon last weekend's performances as they host Arkansas Aeros Friday, Nov. 17 at 7:00 p.m. and Little Rock River Catz Saturday, Nov. 18 at 7:00 p.m. at the Reicher Catholic High School Deering Center on 2102 North 23rd Street.

Last weekend, Chris Johnson scored 27 points for the Wranglers against the Texas Tycoons. Other players scoring double digits last weekend were Vincent Bridgewater adding 24, Reggie Griffin 14, and Mario Kinsey 12.

"We're going to start getting some wins," Coach Ozzie Denson said. "We have been practicing really hard and I hope that these practices carry over into the games."

The Wranglers will face former NBA player, Todd Day this weekend when they host Arkansas Aeros Friday. Day was selected in the 1st round by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1992 NBA Draft. Day also has played for the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Tickets are available on the Waco Wrangler website, www.abawranglers.com starting at only ten dollars. Students and teachers with a valid ID will get a $5 discount. Tickets are also available at Cavendars, A Gift for Every Sports Fan and Texas State Technical College or they can be purchased at the door. Season tickets are now available on the Waco Wrangler website. Groups of 13 or more will receive a $5 discount.

Visit Pizza Hut or Shipley's doughnuts and get a $2 off coupon. Also, get one dollar off your cover charge at Grahams Central Station with a Wranglers ticket stub!

T-shirts and hats will be available for purchase at the game. Several t-shirts will also be given away throughout the game to Wroudy fans. Concessions will be available.
