
Reggie Griffin Selected for ABA All-Star Game

Reggie Griffin, starting guard for the Waco Wranglers, has been selected for the West All-Stars in the ABA All-Start game to be played January 28 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Reggie was selected from among the 600 players currently playing for the 47 teams in the ABA.
Reggie Griffin. 6'6", was an All-American in National Junior College Athletic Association, Division III in 2001, and played his high school ball in Arkansas. Reggie has been averaging over 31 points a game in the Waco Wrangler's first year.
The Wranglers have been playing their home games since the middle of December at various venues, and will complete their season in March. The Wranglers have faced cost-cutting measures, venue limitations, and league issues which have limited their appearances in the Greater Waco area. It is completing its season and playing many the games scheduled to be home games as away games.
The team is committed to completing this season and will position itself to play a complete home season next year in Waco. It is planning to sponsor a three-on-three tournament in late spring and will be recruiting for more local talent in the next season.
