No Aeros game Tuesday night
January 22, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Arkansas Aeros News Release
SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- With the late insertion of Sunday's Prize Money game with the Minnesota Ripknees added to their schedule, the Arkansas Aeros contest with the Arkansas RiverCatz will not be played Tuesday, Jan. 23rd in Springdale.
The Ripknees contest, which the No.1-rated Aeros won 111-104 at the All-Star Sports Arena, was added by the American Basketball Association after the team schedules were printed at the start of the season.
There will not be a make-up contest between the two Arkansas teams. They are still set to play one final time in Springdale on Feb. 2nd at 7:05 p.m.
The Aeros will resume their schedule Thursday in a 7:05 p.m. match-up against the Waco Wranglers at the All-Star Sports Arena.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
