Kevin Whitted high school jersey to be retired at Laney

Wilmington, NC - The Wilmington Sea Dawgs are pleased to announce that Head Coach and General Manager Kevin Whitted will be honored at Laney High School with the retirement of his basketball jersey.

The ceremony will take place Tuesday, January 30th. at 7:30 p.m. before the home game versus West Brunswick High School.

Kevin Whitted attended Laney High School from 1987 until his graduation in 1990. During that time he broke Michael Jordan's scoring record and became the school's all-time leading scorer. This record still stands today.

The team plays the Atlanta Vision at home both Monday night tonight as well as Tuesday night. The tip-off for both of these home games is 7:05 p.m.
