Voyagers Doubleheader Tonight Postponed
August 18, 2019 - Pioneer League (PL)
Great Falls Voyagers News Release
Missoula, MT-Sunday's scheduled doubleheader between the Great Falls Voyagers and the Missoula Osprey was postponed, marking a third straight day without a game due to unplayable field conditions at Ogren Park.
The two clubs have agreed to move the final two games of the four-game series to Centene Stadium. A doubleheader will now be played Monday in Great Falls at 5 p.m. Gates will open at 4:30. Admission to the doubleheader is free. Both games will be seven-inning contests. The two teams have scheduled another doubleheader in Great Falls for this coming Friday to make up for one of the lost games in Missoula. After Monday, the Voyagers will play two road games at Billings Tuesday and Wednesday.
*On a side note, there was a concert held on the field in Missoula last Sunday night. Combined with rain prior to the concert and the large crowd size, it left the field unplayable for baseball. At least through tonight.
