In the top of the second inning, after Hillsboro tied the game at 1, Jeff Houghtby hits a double off the glove of the right fielder Kristian Robinson, scoring Harrison Freed from first base to retake the lead 2-1
In the top of the eighth, after Hillsboro takes a 5-2 lead, Canario hits a two run home run off of the scoreboard in left center field that scores Houghtby and pulls the Volcanoes to within one 5-4
The Volcanoes will look to get their first win of the second half when Conner Nurse will make his second start of the year for Salem-Keizer against Hillsboro's Tyler Holton.
