Vipers rained out Wednesday night

Due to unplayable field conditions at Foothills Stadium in Calgary, Alberta Wednesday night's Golden Baseball League game between the Calgary Vipers and the Yuma Scorpions has been postponed. This game will be made up as a double-header on Saturday August 9th starting at 5:05 PM (MDT).

The Snakes now head out on the road for a seven game roadtrip starting Friday July 25th at 8:05 PM (MDT) with the Vipers in Long Beach to take on the Armada and Evan Greusel (6-2) starting. Saturday July 26th at 8:05 PM (MDT) Nate Melek (4-2) will start and the three game series wraps up Sunday July 27th at 6:05 PM (MDT) with Ryan Schurman (1-4) getting the ball.

Calgary will then play in a matchup of the two first half champions when they take on the Orange County Flyers Monday July 28th at 6:05 PM (MDT) for a double-header. Wednesday July 30th the two teams will play another double-header starting at 6:05 PM (MDT) to conclude the four game series.

The Vipers have a big weekend planned against their arch-rival Edmonton Cracker-Cats when they return to Foothills Stadium on August 1st at 7:05 PM (MDT). Friday night will be Vipers Key Chain Giveway Night with the first 1500 fans receiving that gift. Saturday the Vipers and Calgary Stampeders are teaming up for a baseball-football doubleheader. The baseball game begins at 2:30 PM (MDT) and starting at 4.00 PM (MDT) football fans will receive free admission by presenting their Stamps-Riders ticket. Vipers fans will be allowed to park free on Vipers property if they chose to move their vehicles from the McMahon Stadium lot starting at 4:00 PM (MDT).
