
Vipers Fall to Warriors in Quarterfinal

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers fell 110-81 to the Santa Cruz Warriors on Monday afternoon at HP Field House. The Vipers concluded the 2020-21 NBA G League in the single-site location at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, FL.
Despite the loss, Trevelin Queen recorded a career-high and season-high for the Vipers with 35 points, adding four rebounds, three assists while shooting 50.0% from the three-point line. In addition, Queen shot 60.8% from the field.
Anthony Lamb scored 15 points, six rebounds, four assists for RGV. Armoni Brooks tallied nine points, six rebounds, three assists from off the bench.
For Santa Cruz, Axel Toupane scored 24 points, 11 rebounds while dishing out three assists. Jacob Evans came off the bench to contribute 12 points, four rebounds.
