
Rockets Sign Anthony Lamb to Two-Way Deal

EDINBURG, Texas - The Houston Rockets announced today that they have signed Anthony Lamb to a two-way deal. The call-up is the third for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, NBA G League affiliate of the Rockets, 47th overall.
Lamb (6-6, 227) started in six games for RGV averaging 18.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks in 33.8 minutes of action. The 6-6-foot forward also played the center role with the Vipers and recorded two double-doubles, most recently versus Santa Cruz Warriors he totaled 24 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals.
The first matchup with RGV on Feb. 25, Lamb posted a career-high of 32 points, 12 rebounds and contributed four assists, three steals and a lone block while shooting 63.2% from the field.
Throughout the regular season, Lamb shot 56.0% from the field and 41.9% from beyond the arc.
During the first post-season game, Lamb totaled 15 points, six rebounds and four assists in loss against Santa Cruz.
