Vipers and Capitals game postponed

Due to unplayable field conditions at Foothills Stadium in Calgary, Alberta tonight's, Friday July 22nd, North American League game between the Calgary Vipers and Edmonton Capitals has been postponed. This game will be made-up as part of a double-header featuring two seven inning games on Tuesday August 23rd when the Capitals return back to Calgary. All with a ticket to Friday July 22nd's game can redeem it for a ticket to any other game this 2011 regular season. Calgary remains two games ahead of Edmonton for first place in the North Division standings.

The Vipers now welcome Kevin Costner's Lake County Fielders on Sunday July 24th at 1:35 for Family and Fastballs Day presented by SHINE FM.

The Calgary Vipers will be hosting three Women's Pro Fastpitch games between the USAA Pride and the Tennessee Diamonds August 2nd, 3rd and 4th at 6:30 at Foothills Stadium. Tickets are $16 for the Lower Bowl and $12 for the Upper Bowl. Three game packages are also available for $45 and $33. In addition there will be two skill clinics August 2nd and 4th from 10am - 12pm. Cost is $99 for a Clinic and Lunch or $120 for the Clinic, Lunch and two Lower Bowl tickets. There will also be a Lunch Banquet August 3rd including an autograph session with both teams and a lower bowl ticket to the August 3rd game for $49.95 with keynote speaker Cheri Kempf, the Commissioner of the NPF and an ESPN analyst.
