Vipers, 2240 To Hold Silent Jersey Auction Saturday

HIDALGO, TEXAS - The NBA D-League Rio Grande Valley Vipers and 2240 announced today that they will be holding a silent auction of the Vipers' game-worn road jerseys from the time the doors to Dodge Arena open at 6:00 until the end of the third quarter during Saturday's 7:00 p.m. Fan Appreciation Night game against the Austin Toros. All proceeds will benefit Easter Seals.

Easter Seals provides exceptional services, education, outreach and advocacy so that people living with autism and other disabilities can live, learn, work and play in our communities.

The winners will be announced during the fourth quarter.

"Easter Seals has a goal of raising $30,000 by Sunday, and this is a great way for the Vipers and 2240 to help them achieve that mark while also giving the fans a chance to have their own game-worn Vipers jerseys," Vipers President and General Manager Brian Michael Cooper said.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased in advance through TicketMaster or by phone at 1-888-RGV-NBAD (748-6223) or 956-972-1144. Tickets can also be purchased at the Dodge Arena box office.

Fans can also get one free ticket for every four non-perishable food items they donate at either the Dodge Arena box office or any of the 17 Walgreens locations in the Rio Grande Valley as part of the "Hoops Against Hunger" Food Drive, of which Border Media Radio is also a partner, benefiting the Food Bank RGV.
