Victoria Seals Game Postponed
May 28, 2010 - Golden Baseball League (GBL)
Victoria Seals News Release
Victoria, BC - Due to unplayable field conditions at Royal Athletic Park, the Victoria Seals have elected to postpone tonight's game two against the Orange County Flyers. A build-up of water forming on the playing surface has forced the teams to err on the side of caution and hope for better conditions tomorrow evening.
The Seals and Flyers will play a double header Saturday night, with the first of two seven-inning games beginning at 5:05 p.m. (PT). The second contest will immediately follow the game two of the series, ahead of Sunday's matinee game four at 1:35 p.m. (PT).
Tickets for tonight's game will be redeemable for any regular season game in 2010, including tomorrow's rescheduled match. Please present your original ticket at the Select Your Tickets box office, or at the ticket windows at Royal Athletic Park to receive a ticket for the game of your choice.
Those who have already purchased tickets for tomorrow night's game three of the series also have the opportunity to arrive early and catch both games of the Saturday double header at no extra cost.
Both games will also be broadcast live online at www.victoriaseals.ca, and in the ballpark on 88.1 FM. Single game and season tickets for the 2010 campaign are now on sale, available through the Victoria Seals office. Call (250) 220-7777 for more information, or to book your seat today!
