Victoria Seals Bring Sea Dog Days To Royal Athletic Park

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Seals are proud to announce that they are hosting Sea Dog Days at Royal Athletic Park from June 8-10 as part of the Canadian Navy's Centennial celebrations. In partnership with Vancouver Island Brewery, the club will offer discounted rates to all military personnel for their upcoming series against the Calgary Vipers.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Navy, and as the home of the nation's Pacific Naval Fleet, Victoria is hosting a series of events to honour those that protect our waters and defend our security. The Seals are proud to present Sea Dog Days during the International Fleet review that will see more than 10,000 foreign sailors visit Victoria the week of June 9-14.
"This is an event that our organization is really proud to be a part of," said Seals General Manager Roxann Bury. "We are thrilled to be able to host members of the military from around the world, and honour our Canadian troops for 100 years of service."
Any member of the military (with uniform or valid I.D.) will be offered a discounted rate of $13.00 for a Lower Reserved ticket, and just $11.00 for General Admission seating for the Seals games against the Calgary Vipers on June 8, 9, and 10.
One dollar from each Seals ticket sold to a military member during Sea Dog Days will go directly towards the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Program, which enhances the morale and welfare of the military community by delivering high quality support, health & recreation programs.
In honour of this significant milestone in our naval history, Vancouver Island Brewery has also crafted a new beer, Sea Dog Amber Ale, to help celebrate this achievement. As part of their commitment to this project, Vancouver Island Brewery has also made a cash contribution to the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Program.
