
Vancouver Whitecaps FC Launch Extra Time Presented by Bell

VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Bell announced on Wednesday the launch of Extra Time presented by Bell, a video series that will provide exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to the team throughout the upcoming MLS is Back Tournament in Florida starting on July 8.
Through a combination of short documentary style video features and raw footage from Florida including an inside look at team travel, meetings, training sessions, matches and more, Extra Time presented by Bell will offer fans unique access to the players' experiences as the 'Caps return to play and compete in the first competition since the COVID-19 suspension.
"Bell has been bringing Whitecaps FC fans closer to the action since the club's first season in MLS, and we're excited to provide them with this exclusive off-field access to their favourite players," said Devorah Lithwick, senior vice president at Bell.
"We would love nothing more than to have our fans and supporters by our side in Florida, and through Extra Time presented by Bell we're going to bring them right into the squad and provide the personal stories we know they're craving," said Mark Pannes, Whitecaps FC chief executive officer.
Extra Time presented by Bell will be available at whitecapsfc.com/BellExtraTime and shared across Whitecaps FC social media channels throughout the competition. The MLS is Back Tournament will run from July 8 to August 11 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida. Each team will play a minimum of three matches in the 54-match World Cup style tournament, with 16 teams advancing to the knockout rounds. Group stage matches will count towards the 2020 MLS regular season standings.
