Troy- Tech Valley businesses are invited to enjoy a night of baseball at "The Joe" Monday, August 16th as the ValleyCats take on the Vermont Expos. Tech Valley businesses will be welcomed to the ballpark over the PA system and on the stadium's state-of-the-art scoreboard. The game begins at 7 p.m.
"New technology companies are springing up daily and this area is becoming the new Silicone Valley of the East Coast," said Peter Rosenberg, Director of Sales and Marketing. "We want to give businesses a chance to get their name out, while enjoying a night at the stadium with their co-workers."
Many tech companies have signed up and are excited about the opportunities to showcase their businesses to a packed stadium and network with others. There will be discount tickets for groups of 25 people or more and an all-you-can-eat buffet for a picnic of 50 or more.
The ValleyCats (32-21) currently occupy first place in the Stedler Division. So far this season, the âCats have gone 4-3 against the Expos.
