Wausau, WIS- The upcoming home-stand starts Wednesday, June 3, 2015. This four day stand of home games has promotions, giveaways and fun galore. The Wisconsin Woodchucks will take on the Kalamazoo Growlers at Athletic Park on Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. to kick off the fun!
Also Wednesday, June 3rd will be the first of two nights of Woody's Reading Club presented by Dovorany Orthodontics, Culver's, Sun Printing and your Wisconsin Woodchucks. Woody's Reading Club offers exciting prizes, such as free Woodchucks tickets and Culver's treats, to help motivate students to read throughout the school year. We will also be giving away Grand Lodge Waterpark Resort passes to the first 500 kids under the age of 12. The Woodchucks welcome the students and their families to Athletic Park to enjoy the game and some pre-game fun in Pepsi Fan Zone, gates open at 5:35 p.m..
Thursday, June 4th we will be giving away wiffle ball and bat sets to the first 500 kids ages 12 and under, presented by The Samuels Group. Also, courtesy of Hardees, 500 Thickburger coupons will be given to the first fans inside the gate. New this season to the Pepsi Fan Zone is the addition of some cornhole sets; we invite you to show off your skills! Thursday's game will starts at 7:05 p.m. as the Woodchucks take on the Growlers for the second night in a row. Gates to the Pepsi Fan Zone will open 90 minutes prior to the first pitch.
The third game of the home-stand is on Friday, June 5th at 7:05 p.m. against the LaCrosse Loggers. Like every Friday of the season, Woody's World Famous Fish Fry will be available and there will be post-game fireworks. This week the fireworks are brought to you by Time Federal Savings Bank. Aside from the typical excitement at Athletic Park, Friday is also Daddy/Daughter Date Night. The $25 ticket will include 2 reserved seat tickets, 2 hot dogs, 2 bags of popcorn, and 4 Kid Zone tokens. Dads, bring your daughter(s) out for some quality time.
The final game of this stretch of home games is Saturday, June 6th at 7:05 p.m., also against LaCrosse. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. to allow fans to participate in the Party-At-The-Park that happens every Saturday during the season. Southbound will be the band for this night's Party and will play from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will also be food and drinks available for purchase throughout Neighborhood Park. The first 500 fans will receive a Woodchucks hat courtesy of Advanced Disposal. Also during the game the Woodchucks will be paying tribute to a successful 40 years of Saturday Night Live. Live from Wausau, it's Saturday Night!
Tickets for all of the games can be purchased online, at woodchucks.com, by calling the Front Office at 715.845.5055, or by stopping by the Front Office (300 3rd. St. Suite 305, Wausau WI 54403) anytime between 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Single game tickets are on sale now. The Woodchucks are looking forward to weeks of great baseball and fun at Athletic Park and we hope to see you there!
